13000 ppl sang K with me @ Concert YY

Cass didn't come tonight & the song was performed by Joey alone. Anyway, lyrics reminds me some bad things a few years ago, hummmm, OT...

The show makes me think of many good old days, most of the songs we used to sing in karaoke in the past..., weh, time flies....

I was never a fan of Shine, but I've listened to a lot of their songs (and, why?). Hummmmm, I've got a lot of MD that recorded their songs. Tonight they sang this (I shouldn't translate it as "Nancy Tail Butterfly" right?) song at the beginning, wehhhhh....the moment is so touching, I felt I was being sent back to some 10 years ago. Read from newspaper that Shine shall have concert to celebrate their 10th anniversary wor...(but, again, I was never been their fan and I love the songs "Joe & Jim" & "Bangkok Maria", though I'm not sure if these 2 are written by Wyman).

Fiona is so skinny & looks a bit terrible (sorry... but... she's just tooooo thin...). Wah, we used to sing "Letter from Keanu Reeves" and "A boy like you" in kbox...(also "XBF", this one is very good indeed...)...OMG! How long I didn't visit kbox....(um, almost a year la...)

He sang "Wash, cut, dry" (should I find the formal translation of the songs?) in the show, oh, other than Jacquelin Chong's exBF, Deep was used to be a singer some years ago (ah, he had been guest in Hins's concert 2 years ago). Ah, other than this one, I love the one call "繁華亂世" (I guess no one understand if I translate it directly...XDDDDD)

Endy Chow sang "Meguro", it's interesting that the guests tonight, other than Amanda Lee, Anthony Wong, William So, Eason Chan, Joey Yung (in fact she debuted in late 90s...), the others (like those I mentioned before, including HOCC!) debuted in the early 2000, the time that I have freedom to spend my time (so I can sing K 3 times a week) & money (so I can buy 3 CD a week too), their songs triggered different memory pieces from my mind, wah, toooooo terrible....

Endy keep staying on the stage & HOCC appeared to sing "Rolls & Royce". In fact I didn't watch "Leung Chuk" so far (hum, I'm not diehard fan anyway), can't explain but it's very touching to see the 2 on stage again. (then she sang "癡情詩", my favourite song from musical "Red Chamber Dream" ((or Ka Po Yuk???)))

Ah, HOCC also performed same dance as in the "Bright Club" (or "Unity Club"?) MV, I felt the show was HOCC & Joey Yung concert as they come and go go and come all night, hahh.

I thought this song was written by Lam Chik but not Wyman wor...anyway, really feel sorry about Twins that their performance was the greatest toilet break throughout the night. And I dunno why Wyman let them wore pairs of high heels without heels (do you know what i mean???), that made them can't even walk, so no dance & move when they sang these upbeat songs. And, after all, boring and hence toilet break.

*****************************************************************
Here are some of my favourite that by Wyman, I hope there will be live performance one day:

Eason Chan --Last Order (if my memory is good, "New Order"(Cantonese ver) was written by Lam Chik)

Leo Ku--In fact me me me (Ok, it's "其實我…我…我…")

Anita Mui/Leslie Cheung --芳華絕代 (so how can I translate this?)

Miriam Yeung--Wild Child (O, Mrs. Ting won't appear at all la...)

Soft Hard--非常口(ehhh, how can I translate this too????)
*****************************************************************
Guests of the night is somehow 00s rather than 90s, which my friend didn't enjoy at all. For me, most of the songs are golden hits during the age of late secondary school & u-grad, wah, time flies (rewind my tape...). Anyway, the show was great & can't control myself to sing along with the singers. Wahhh, 13,xxx people sing k together, can we apply Guinness World Records?

  1. You remind me the cartwheel stunt Twins did when they sang "Ming Oi Um Luen Po Chap Sei" (Yes I give up translation...)...I bet they can't do it anymore even in bare feet....

I think the lyric written by Lam Chik that you are talking about should be "A boy in girls' school"....
"Transfer student A...acts like Lau Wah" is really a classic...

And you know "Alien Mo Cha Cha" is another piece of work from Y right? It would be stunning if "Eye Sight Ku" could perform "Mo cha cha is an orange ball" live...

Some media said Cass agreed to perform for Y because of she want to do something to express her thank...well at the time when Y started to offer lyrics, she had already got a successful career in singing. She seems want to take this chance to warm up before resuming her career rather.

  2. For the Cass-Joey duet...do you think Joey's voice is very much like Cass'?

When Joey debuted years ago, I found her voice resembled Cass'.
